ShardsThis is a featured page

The following are draft images of shards based on two size proposals. Both of these are very large.

A world shattered into the smaller 200kms shards would have roughly 16,000+ surface shards and another 30,000 sub-surface shards.

For the 400 km diameter shard, there would be 4,096 surface shards and another 6,000 sub-surface shards.

I think I may go with 10,000 shards. Still undecied about the Hollow World issue. There are 7 contintent-sized fragments, which would leave 9,994 smaller shards of various sizes, then there will be some gravity-less boulders which technically aren't classified as shards, and finally there are debris fields and debris storms. The repulsion fields set up by the shard-key would keep out everything bigger than a pre-set size (ideas?), but there could still be dust/pebble storms.
Do you find this valuable?
